Dhr. en Mevr. Kigoma hadden een fruitsapbedrijfje in Bujumbura (Fruitojus).
Als diversificatie wilden zij ook alcoholische dranken produceren, zoals rhum en fruitige cocktails (type Breezer).
Hiertoe richten zij een nieuw bedrijfje op (Punch Beverage) en kochten in China een fermentatie- en distillatie-installatie.
Africa4U ging de Kigoma’s helpen met het opstarten van de vergisting van melasse (= stroperige suikerhoudend afval van suikerfabriek) tot een alcoholhoudende suikerwijn en met de distillatiehiervan tot zuivere alcohol.

 

Mr. & Mrs. Kigoma have a Fruit Juice factory in Bujumbura. As a diversification they wanted to produce alcoholic beverages like rhum, gin and cocktails. Therefore a new company Punch Beverage was created, and they bought a Fermenting- and Distilling Unit in China. Africa4U assisted in commissioning, re-engineering, start-up and training of personnel. Molasse syrup is fermented to sugar cane beer, then distilled to pure ethanol.

 

M. & Mme Kigoma  produisent des jus de fruits exotiques dans leur usine à Bujumbura. Pour diversifier leurs activités, ils voulaient produire des boissons alcoliques, comme le rhum, le gin et les cocktails.
Ils ont crée une nouvelle société Punch Beverage et ont acheté une installation de fermentation et de distillation en Chine.  Africa4U est venu assiter Punch Beverage a faire demarrer et améliorer l’installation, donner formation au personnel et suivre la qualité de la première production. Le sirop de melasse est d’abord fermenté, puis distillé pour produire de l’alcool pur.
